Morning Musume's 46th SIngle "Only You" PV Review
Long time no see, guys ^^
Well I watched the new Momusu PV a few days ago and since I'm bored I might as well write a review like a used to do XD
Let me start off by saying, since this is a PV review I want go into how much I hate this song. Not because of how it sounds but of who's singing the whole thing. Yes, Ai & Reina and little dancer Riho. I don't have anything against them but one day I would like it when Ai and Reina aren't lead singers in at least one single. Apart from that the song is alright, but I'm still not that attached to it like other songs. But I do love auto tuned Gaki a lot XD
Now, to start off the PV was actually pretty good. Much better than their last singles. The whole crystal look with the white outfits looked amazing and elegant. Also putting candles around the girls in the what looked like an almost dark yet elegant place was a very nice touch.
The dance was also nice, but was almost very simple for such a powerful sounding song. I was expecting something more stiff but almost very sexy. The close ups of all the girls were good. The girls looked extremely cute and gorgeous all throughout the PV, especially Sayu, Risa & AI (I would never see the day where I'd say Ai looked beautiful in a PV) I think the kyuukies pulled off being sexy quite well, but I still find it weird seeing them being sexy at such a young age.
Overall, the whole thing was a pleasure to watch and hope for more PVs like this in the future, for Morning Musume or any other H!P group.

C-ute 6th Album "Chou Wonderful! 6" Review
It's been awhile since I've done an album review (last one was Fantasy ga Hajimaru Juuichi, right?)
Anyway I'm here with C-ute's new album.
1. Chou Wonderful!
Chou Wonderful is probably your typical C-ute song. It's energetic, powerful and cute. I really love it, but I have some problems with it.
It sounds more like a Buono song. I haven't got anything Buono but I think that this song would of fitted Buono's image more than C-ute's.
The instrumental kind of bores me. I'm not a big fan of the instrumental for several reasons, it has a lot of guitar which reminds me of a rock song, and I hate a lot of rock songs (not all). It doesn't really fit their voices. Even though it's supposed to be pop rock song, I think they turned it into more of a rock song and gave the pop to the singing.
Apart from that it's an overall awesome song

2. Midnight Temptation
The first time I heard this I was wondering why everyone loved the song, and now I see why. The instrumental sounds so cool and their voices blend quite well with the song. That's about it. I don't dislike anything, even though I used to dislike it

I don't like it for unknown reasons. Mai's voice sounds bad but it has improved over years. Also it sounds like they just repeated every line 1000x

It was supposed to be a lullaby song then I would loved but assuming it's supposed to be a ballad it just doesn't really do it for me. Which is quite disappointing because I was looking forward to hearing a new C-ute ballad

I like this song...sorta. I really like the sound of instrumental and their voices, but after awhile it gets really boring. Their voices start to sound exactly the same, even Nakky's sounds the same and in my opinion that's hard to imagine. Besides that I like it but it's not their best

I absolutely love this song. Even though I don't find Maimai's voice that good, it definitely fitted this song so much. Her cute voice mixed with an almost cute and genki instrumental definitely sounds awesome. The other members sounded awesome but Maimi and Maimi definitely sounded the best in this song.

It sounds so awesome, the instrumental definitely fits every single one of their voices. Even though the song drags on for a long time I still find myself swaying to their beautiful voices and summer instrumental. Definitely the best song on the album

Overall the album has some blunders and some ups. But I must admit that it is much better than Shocking 5 but still I wouldn't say it's their best album of all time

S/mileage 6th Single "Koi ni Booing Buu!" PV Review
The PV for S/mileage's 6th Single "Koi ni Booing Buu! was released a couple of days ago and at first I was really excited to see this PV, then I watched it and that feeling kind of went away fast.
Since this review is probably going to have me hate on this PV so much let's start with the good things of the PV.
Good Thing #1:
The PV was so cute and energetic, which made me happy since when I think of S/mileage I think of childish and cute. Which in my opinion fits them the most.
Good Thing #2:
The song is awesome. At first I didn't really find the song that great but after a couple listens it actually isn't that bad. All their voices sound great, especially Dawa and Sakichy's.
And that's the end of the good things (yeah there's only two things)
Now on to the bad things
Bad Thing #1:
The pig. The pig just wrecks the PV so much. I wouldn't mind it if it was just in the corner nowhere to be seen, but instead it's in every single scene. It's gets quite annoying seeing a pig with too make-up on and that looks like a hooker just popping up every killing S/mileage's spotlight. I'm pretty sure that the group name was S/mileage, not Hooker Pig ft S/mileage.
Bad Thing #2:
The fact that the song is related to pigs. I know H!P doesn't make that great of songs and that they're not as popular as they used to years ago, but seriously making a song related to pigs must be the worst thing ever. I love pigs but making a song of it isn't the best thing in my books. Maybe cats, dogs or even a turtle would be better.
Bad Thing #3:
Flying S/mileage Pigs. It's random and I don't like it, that's about it
Bad Thing #4:
S/mileage in the black outfits. I love the black outfits they look awesome, but when they were put in the PV they kinda wrecked the cute image of the PV. There depressed looking faces were not cute.
Bad Thing #5:
The pig...oh wait I already said this. Who cares I hate the pig.

Happy Birthday Marikosama~!!
It was Shinoda Mariko's birthday today YAY~!!
Even though I was gonna do this blogpost earlier (like 8 hours earlier) but all the earthquake and worrying of the H!P and AKB48 girls I got caught up in that.
Anyway Mariko 25 now? She doesn't even look 25 she looks so much younger.
It's unfortunate she had to spend her birthday when there was a earthquake in Japan, even though she was in Guam with a few other AKB girls.

I've always been a Sayaka fan, since she's strong, funny, a good leader and is awesome at singing. The reason she is member of the day is because of a picture I saw of her today. It was of her and Yuko, they were so cute. I'm glad Sayaka's Team K's captain again since there's never gonna be another Captain like Sayaka.

It's not one of NYC's best songs or PV's but I'm totally addicted to it. Love their voices, especially Yuma's since he has that deep voice. I like deep voices (lol)

Was listening to Heroine ni Narou ka and something struck me.
And that's when I realised that the start of Heroine ni Narou ka sounds so similar to the one of Another World ~Mirai no Bokura e~ by NYC.

Morning Musume 45th Single "Maji Desuka Suka" Full Radio Rip
Long time no see.
It's been a while since I've posted here.
Anyway the full radio rip of Maji Desuka Suka has been released.
I like how the song sounds and how everyone got to have solo lines. It gives all of the members a chance to shine and gives us a chance to see the 9th Gen's strong points and weak points in singing as well.
Riho sounds awesome in her solo parts. Her voice fits so well with the song.
Eripon doesn't have the best voice but she sure does rock her solo lines in the song. The best voice vocals from the 9th Gen solo's
Zukkini also sounds great, I still don't like her accent but I'm sure it'll grow on me.
Mizuki sounds so nice, but too bad she only had the lines "Anata wo shiritai." I would of loved to here much more from her since her voice is so lovely.
Sayu sounds alright, not the best compared to other songs but still cute.
Aika was awesome, I didn't recognize her voice at first. I thought she was Reina. She certainly has improved.
Reina's voice was nice and so was Ai's.
Gaki's kinda annoyed me, it sounds like she's shouting but I guess she always sounds like that at concerts.

S/mileage 5th Single "Shortcut" PV Review
YAY~!! The Shortcut PV was released and ready to be reviewed!
Well I really like the song. It's full of energetic singing, nice beats and especially lots of S/mileage cuteness.
The PV wasn't one of their greatest but it was certainly awesome. The start was really cute seeing Yuuka and Ayaka look at their long hair for the last time in awhile. I also liked the dancing on the moon with a S/mileage flag which I thought was also very cute. I loved the dance, it was very energetic yet very slow-ish XD
The only thing I didn't like about this PV was the part where the hairdresser was cutting Yuuka's and Ayaka's long hair.

The PV wasn't one of their greatest but it was certainly awesome. The start was really cute seeing Yuuka and Ayaka look at their long hair for the last time in awhile. I also liked the dancing on the moon with a S/mileage flag which I thought was also very cute. I loved the dance, it was very energetic yet very slow-ish XD
The only thing I didn't like about this PV was the part where the hairdresser was cutting Yuuka's and Ayaka's long hair.

Takahashi Ai To Graduate Morning Musume & Hello!Project
It was announced on Tsunku's blog and the H!P website that 5th Gen, Takahashi Ai is going to graduate at the end of the Momusu 2011 Autumn Concert.
Ai will be continuing her work around singing/music and live theatre. Fellow 5th Gen, Niigaki Risa will take her spot as leader.
It wasn't really a surprise that Ai was gonna graduate, it was bound to happen sometime soon. But the thing that shocked me was that the announcement of the graduation was so soon and that Risa wasn't graduating with her.
According to Tsunku, it was a good time to graduate Ai since she has been in the group for a really long time, and to be honest I have to agree. It basically looked like the group was Ai centred.
We will miss Ai dearly, with her awesome dancing skills, singing voice, great leadership for the past years and of course her manly screams.
Takahashi Ai, until the day comes we will all be supporting you.

I'm not sure if the tracklist is confirmed but it looks likea promising single.
Apparently, the PV is supposed to be 21 minutes long which in my head is a really really long time for PV but if it's that long it has to be worth watching.
I'm glad Undergirls and Theatre Girls are on the single since they always have awesome songs and it means more exposure for less popular girls.
A surprise for me was that MINT are having another song. It's kinda confusing since "Kimi ni Tsuite" was supposedly there last song. Even the PV showed that it ws there last song. But anyway I'm glad MINT are having another song. I hope for another slow ballad.
Also there is still no news on who the extra 5 members are.
